Customs can mean anything from repainting a figure's head to tearing apart a vehicle to make it more realistic. I do all of the above.Below you'll see some of my techniques.

A few tips I can tell you are as follows:

When you get an idea to customize something its' important to find references and pictures to go by. also draw a few sketches to keep you on track while customizing.

You can also check around to see if any sets have some of the pieces you need wether it is a gun, or equipment, or even just tires or wheels. It coudl save you lots of time tryign to customize something.

Tools and Materials

Here's what my Shop includes.

Dremel-with sanding bits and cutoff wheels

Paints, Acrylic, Enamel(spray and bottle)

Brushes ( painting and larger ones for "dusting" off projects after taking the dremel to them)

Knives (Exacto, different sizes and blades)

Razor saw (looks like a butcher knife with teeth on the end)

That about wraps it up, I also usually have my CD player with some Metallica playing, but that's optional.
